From January 29 to January 31, 2025, The Astor will elevate the celebration to a collection of exclusive Chinese New Year specials designed to honor the traditions of this auspicious season.

There is no better way to celebrate the Year of the Snake than with seasonal Chinese ingredients, such as Stew Chicken Soup with Huaishau, Wolfberry and Dried Sliced Whelk, Braised Pork Knuckle with peanuts and Chu Hau Sauce, Braised Sea Cucumber with Scallion and Deep Fried Abalones with Chilli, Salt and Pepper, and Oyster with Bamboo Shoot. Don’t miss the Stir-fried Dried Oyster with Lettuce Wraps at the live station. Fresh lettuce wraps filled with dried oyster and meat floss showcase an exquisite medley of textures and flavors that are sure to leave diners yearning for more. In addition, throughout the celebratory period, family and friends can aim for an auspicious start to the new year with a traditional Supreme Abalone “Lo Hei”, symbolizing good fortune to come!

To complete the festive feast, traditional Chinese desserts add a beautiful touch to the celebratory atmosphere. Enjoy the warmth of Red Bean Soup with Rice Dumplings, Red Heart Egg Puff with Salted Egg Yolk, Baked Peach Warm Crumble and Assorted Sweet Soup.
